i write to find my voice. to clarify and to argue. to understand. myself. to find.
i write to remember. memories darkened in black, coloured with words, shaped by emotions.
i write to create. worlds. images. sounds. people. emotions. conversations.
i write to express. to tell that story. to try and paint what my head seems to be screaming at me.
i write to tell stories. of who i am. where i come from. all muddled up in another story.
i write to move. to make the thought that touched me, touch you.
i write because that is how i have chosen to define myself. and now i don’t seem to want to change.
why do you write? leave a comment.
two nice reasons i came across… and there are so many lovely thoughts on google images.

Since I write I know what O’Conner was saying.

I love o’connors comment too! Writing helps make sense of the jumble of thoughts in your mind 🙂

totally… i find that even when i say my thoughts aloud, its way better than the jumble in my head.
