this is one of my favourite websites for sustainability, though really bad pay masters! if you haven’t come across them earlier, then do visit their site now. they cover a range of really good sustainable activities and events happening all over india.
i had written about my trip to purushwadi earlier, about fireflies and how we missed them. (read: meeting the twinkling bums) it was a great experience, living so close to nature & in a village with no tourist cliches. the experience was not even remotely customsied for urban, city bred people.
in short, we suffered, but it was a real experience and i wouldn’t change it one bit.
